Beyond the Front Door: Trends in Decorating, Lifestyle and Entertaining
Cathedral of St. Philip, Child Hall
10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Join us for coffee, mimosas and a fun conversation with some of the South’s favorite designers.
Featured panelists include interior designers Phoebe Howard, Melanie Millner and Ashley Gilbreath,
and architect, John Plaster. In a discussion moderated by Christina Dandar of the Potted Boxwood,
they will invite you into their world of design as they share their perspective on bringing beauty into
your home.
A Journey Through Homes and Hospitality
11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Immerse yourself in a tour of four exceptionally decorated homes. In historic Ardmore Park, tour a
1925 English Arts & Crafts style home, beautifully transformed for the next 100 years by Architect
and homeowner, John Plaster. In Buckhead, visit two historic estates both originally constructed in
1938. The first is a Classic Revival style estate that was recently purchased by a young couple. Their
remarkable renovation pays homage to the home’s history updated for modern living and entertaining. The second has been lovingly updated by a couple with a flare for high design, balanced harmoniously with the practicalities of raising three teenage children. Near the banks of the Chattahoochee River, enjoy a tour of a grand 2002 estate, recently updated inside and out to include stunning gardens made for outdoor entertaining. Whether patrons are design-curious or decor aficionados, they are sure to be inspired by the chic and stylish exhibition.
