The 2021 Cathedral Antiques Show

The Cathedral Antiques Show presented a check for $401,919.65 to our 2021 beneficiary, the City of Refuge 180 Degree Kitchen. The presentation on Sunday, May 2, represents a banner year for our 50th Anniversary Show, giving back to our community through a celebration of art, antiques, and interior design. Thanks to the generosity of our Cathedral Community, sponsors, and everyone who supported the Show, we were able to reimagine, pivot, and create a completely virtual Show that was a record-breaking success in funds raised!

The City of Refuge 180 Degree Kitchen has served over 2 million meals since it its inception in 2008. Cary Grayson and her committee raised the funds in 2008 that helped build the kitchen, and the proceeds in 2021 will provide funds to totally renovate that kitchen which is in desperate need of repair. Covid-19 presented a myriad of circumstances at the City of Refuge that saw an increase in clients and residents on campus, meals served, and the need for a total renovation more important than ever. City of Refuge is a faith-based community that provides life-building tools to transition individuals and families out of crisis. Each year COR helps restore self-respect and increase independence for over 1,500 individuals experiencing poverty through four Key Impact Areas: Health and Wellness, Housing,Vocational Training and Youth Development.

We would like to thank our Honorary Chairs Boog and Sam Candler, Corporate and Patron Sponsors, our committee, the staff at the Cathedral, all of our ticket purchasers and everyone who supported the 50th Anniversary of The Cathedral Antiques Show.

With continued gratitude,

Anne Matthews

2021 Cathedral Antiques Show Chairman
