This Buckhead home is a study in classic architecture, bold creativity and meaningful reinvention. Originally built in 1996 and recently renovated in 2024, the Georgian exterior remains timeless and grounded, while the interiors embrace an updated Regency-inspired, eclectic sensibility. The home has been reimagined by designer Cristi Rajevac in collaboration with Koets Architects & Builders. Guided by a vision to bring color, character and personality to a once-neutral home, the team layered in artful materials, thoughtful architectural refreshes and moments of joyful surprise throughout.

Honoring Tradition Through Thoughtful Design

This Georgian Revival has been reimagined with a deep respect for its traditional roots, blending timeless design, elegant detailing and comfortable livability. Guided by a vision of enduring style, Caroline Willis worked closely with the homeowners to enhance the home’s refined character while creating spaces that feel warm, welcoming and beautifully layered. The design team enhanced the traditional architecture with refined details and considered choices, such as the custom millwork throughout the home and the beautifully paneled study that was crafted to feel original to the residence. In the dining room, hand-painted Gracie wallpaper adds an heirloom touch, paired with newly constructed doors that were intentionally designed to feel as though they’ve always belonged.

Tucked along one of Atlanta’s most beloved streets, this home is a story of artistry, history and heartfelt collaboration. Originally built as a carriage house in 1900, the property has been thoughtfully reimagined by Theresa Ory Interiors and Spitzmiller & Norris, who worked closely with the homeowners to create a timeless retreat that honors the home’s architectural past while embracing the personal character of its present. The design vision for the home centers on staying true to its classic cottage charm while infusing each space with layers of craft, texture and collected warmth.
