After 50 successful years of the Cathedral Antiques Show (and over $5 million donated to Atlanta area charitable organizations), we are thrilled to begin the next chapter of philanthropic giving on behalf of the Episcopal Church Women of the Cathedral of St. Philip. Cathedral Giving By Design is a two-day event celebrating the joy of Home and Hospitality and benefitting a worthy, local organization. This event will take place January 20-21, 2023 and will include a Friday night Welcome Home party and auction, as well as a Saturday designer panel and Tour of Homes.

With all net proceeds of the event going directly to the beneficiary, we are excited to announce that the Women’s Resource Center to End Domestic Violence will be our 2023 recipient. Founded in 1986, the Women’s Resource Center to End Domestic Violence (WRCDV) provides compassionate services to survivors of domestic violence and their children. Through emergency and transitional housing, crisis assistance, advocacy, education, and prevention, WRCDV serves more than 5000 survivors in the Atlanta area each year. Following the pandemic shutdown in 2020, WRCDV experienced a significant increase in need for services, but remain more dedicated than ever to their mission of saving lives and creating a world in which domestic violence no longer exists.

Cathedral Giving By Design is thrilled to partner with WRCDV to support their vision of a community center for families impacted by domestic violence. The establishment of this new center will allow WRCDV to expand their violence-prevention work with children, resulting in fewer children carrying the burden of domestic violence with them for the rest of their lives.
