In 2026, Cathedral Giving By Design will celebrate and support Global Village Project.
Global Village Project offers a unique model of inclusive and equitable education for refugee girls. This model removes barriers that refugee learners face with a focus on English language literacy, core academic subjects, and the arts, in the context of a compassionate community and a STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) framework. Their approach is highly individualized, emphasizing creativity, critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and confidence.

By investing in these vibrant, functional, and healing-centered spaces, Cathedral Giving by Design will “Furnish the Future”—one filled with books, music, meals, and belonging—for refugee girls finding their way forward.
