In 2026, Cathedral Giving By Design will celebrate and support Global Village Project.
Global Village Project offers a unique model of inclusive and equitable education for refugee girls. This model removes barriers that refugee learners face with a focus on English language literacy, core academic subjects, and the arts, in the context of a compassionate community and a STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) framework. Their approach is highly individualized, emphasizing creativity, critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and confidence.

Cathedral Giving by Design will help provide a safe place to learn, grow, and thrive, by equipping three critical shared spaces (auditorium, library, and cafeteria) in Global Village Project's new school campus. By investing in these vibrant, functional, and healing-centered spaces, Cathedral Giving by Design will “Furnish the Future”—one filled with books, music, meals, and belonging—for refugee girls finding their way forward.
