US Kids Golf, owned by Dan and Jennifer Van Horn, is offering an exclusive auction package designed to deliver a unique family golf experience suitable for multiple generations including grandparents, parents, and children. US Kids Golf serves a global audience by providing coaching, tournaments, and golf clubs specifically tailored for children. Coaching and tournament programs are administered through the organization’s foundation. Established by Dan Van Horn, this faith-based business has made a significant impact on children's lives worldwide.

Package includes:

• 4 days, 3 Nights in the Van Horn’s personal home in Longleaf Golf and Family Club in Southern Pines, North Carolina.

Sleeps 8 (3 King BRs in Main House, 2 Dbl beds in loft above garage).

• Two (2) U. S. Kids Golf National Parent/Child Camps (2 Adults & 2 Children).  These 4-day long weekend camps begin on Thursday afternoon and conclude Sunday after lunch and are designed to help your young player fall in love with golf while providing a bonding experience. Both adults and children receive coaching.

• Dates to choose from in 2026: May 28-31/ June 4-7/ June 25-28/ August 6-9/ October 9-12

• Total access for the family to Longleaf Golf and Family Club, owned by the Van Horns.

​​30A Songwriters Festival, January 15-18, 2027

​

The 18th Annual Songwriters Festival takes place in the beach resort towns along Scenic 30A on the Gulf Coast and features 30 venues presenting over 125 songwriters and 300+ solo, band and in-the-round performances throughout the weekend.

​

Venues include amphitheaters, town halls, restaurants, theaters, bars and covered patios that have been transformed into unique music venues with state-of-the-art sound systems with capacities ranging from 100-1000 seats indoors and 6000 outdoors. 

​

This year’s (2026) artists include Mavis Staples, Toad the Wet Sprocket, 10,000 Maniacs, I’m With Her, Nikki Lane and Paul McDonald & The Mourning Doves.  Past headliners have included: Emmie Lou Harris, Graham Nash, Brian Wilson, Indigo Girls, John Prine, Jason Isbell, Brandi Carlise, Jackson Brown and Steve Earle. The 2027 lineup will be announced in summer/fall of 2026.

Since its inception in 2010, the 30A Songwriters Festival has become the largest, most prestigious songwriters’ festival in the southeast and has won numerous national accolades with sellout crowds every year. The event is co-produced by Russell Carter Artist Management and the Cultural Arts Alliance (CAA) of Walton County, and 100% of the Festival’s net proceeds support the CAA’s mission to advance the Arts and ensure every person in the community has access to Arts & Culture experiences and education.

The experience includes good company, humor, and a streamside picnic basket for four provided by Cathedral member, Kendrick Dopp.

For three nights, up to four guests can stay at a beautiful lakefront family home on Dick’s Creek, Lake Burton, owned by a Cathedral member, Sean and CeCe Coleman. The retreat is available for use until Memorial Day 2026.

About the Lakefront Home: This Lake Burton residence offers a rare opportunity for privacy and relaxation along tranquil Dick’s Creek. The house is designed to comfortably accommodate two couples/four guests, each with their own en suite bathroom for convenience.

​

Spend your days soaking up the peaceful lake atmosphere and your evenings grilling the fresh catch of the day on either a Green Egg or gas grill. Dine beside the outdoor fireplace on the screened porch, or gather at the boathouse to enjoy stunning views of Charlie Mountain.

The home has several cozy living areas ideal for conversation, laughter, and shared memories. Guests can paddleboard, kayak, leap into deep water from the boathouse, or simply sunbathe while admiring Lake Burton’s natural beauty.

Indoors, the terrace level features a pool table, ping-pong, a poker-ready game table, and plenty of puzzles—great for unwinding together after a fun-filled day.

You can rent pontoon or ski boats at LaPrade's Marina or Anchorage Boat Dock. Please note that this trip is non-transferable, must be used before Memorial Day or after Labor Day- pending clergy schedule. Sorry, no pets are permitted.
